Watch Where You Walk When You Talk
What an amazing day in Atlanta. Following lunch, while returning to my room to get my phone charger, I struck up a conversation with a gentleman by the door. We continued to walk into the CNN center talking. I failed to notice that he had pulled out a card and swiped it next to a door. He opened the door and motioned for me to enter. We continued to walk and talk while riding up three escalators. He was a nice gentleman, a foreign correspondent from England. At the top of the third escalator I was abruptly stopped by a hand, the hand of a security guard. He politely asked where my badge was. I promptly showed him my AFBF badge, but he was obviously not impressed. He then inquired if I was an employee, and I informed him that I had simply been chatting with the gentleman to my left. He then asked again if I was an employee at CNN, at which point I could not resist and informed him that I was a Fair and Balanced supporter of Fox News. He was not impressed and quickly asked me to leave the premises and proceeded to follow me back down the three escalators until I exited the front doors. Any how, I would like to thank the gentleman from England for the pleasant conversation.
